Il op\u00e8re sur toutes les parois particuli\u00e8rement expos\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019eau ou \u00e0 l\u2019humidit\u00e9 : toits terrasses, balcons, parkings, r\u00e9servoirs, terrasses, murs enterr\u00e9s, tabliers de ponts, ou tunnels. Son travail doit \u00eatre techniquement irr\u00e9prochable pour \u00e9viter tous risques de sinistre. Il intervient en construction neuve apr\u00e8s les travaux de g\u00e9nie civil, de charpente ou de gros \u0153uvre, ainsi qu\u2019en r\u00e9habilitation pour maintenir la qualit\u00e9 des ouvrages. Apr\u00e8s v\u00e9rification des supports, il peut selon les cas r\u00e9aliser diff\u00e9rentes t\u00e2ches : mise en \u0153uvre d\u2019isolation thermique, de rev\u00eatements d\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 et de leurs protections \u00e9ventuelles (gravillons, dalles sur plots, v\u00e9g\u00e9talisation..) et traitement des points singuliers tels qu\u2019\u00e9vacuations d\u2019eaux pluviales et joints de dilatation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><\/p>\n<p>Il pose et fixe, en fonction des surfaces \u00e0 \u00e9tancher, les mat\u00e9riaux isolants les plus adapt\u00e9s : laine min\u00e9rale, mousse plastique, verre cellulaire avec colle, bitume ou fixations m\u00e9caniques. Il met en \u0153uvre des rev\u00eatements d\u2019\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 parmi lesquels : feuilles \u00e0 base de bitume ou feuilles plastiques et \u00e9lastom\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<div id=\"formations\" class=\"StyleSheet\">\n<h1 style=\"text-align: justify;\">FORMATIONS<\/h1>\n<div id=\"formation\" class=\"StyleSheet\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h2>Dipl\u00f4mes de l\u2019Education nationale<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ils se pr\u00e9parent principalement en formation initiale que ce soit par voie scolaire ou en apprentissage.
